Baking is fun! Before I even knew anything about baking I played with my Moms wood burning "toy" stove, burning small sticks and baking mini cookies and small buns.
As a microbiologist I am fascinated by the yeast's marvelous work. Sometimes I even study the bacteria do the job, as in Salt Rising Bread.
Of course I'm inspired by testers~tasters~supporters like Keith and Iliana, bakers like my Mom Vera, Jan Hedh through all his fantastic books,
