Where do I get my inspiration?

 

Baking is fun! Before I even knew anything about baking I played with my Moms wood burning "toy" stove, burning small sticks and baking mini cookies and small buns. As a microbiologist I am fascinated by the yeast's marvelous work. Sometimes I even study the bacteria do the job, as in Salt Rising Bread.

Of course I'm inspired by testers~tasters~supporters like Keith and Iliana, bakers like my Mom Vera, Jan Hedh through all his fantastic books,

 

Anna Bergenstråhle in articles and books, Rosendals Trädgårdscafe is also high on my inspiration list and great text books like On Baking, and more.

Nature is inspiration! Walking in the wheat fields of Sweden - here at the farm of our best friends' farm Örsta Gård outside of Eskilstuna.
